Wimmera Information Portal

The Wimmera Information Portal (WIP) is a collaboration between the social, health and community services arenas within the Wimmera region to help address systemic disadvantage. WIP is an online portal which brings together existing social, health and wellbeing datasets and information created and managed by government agencies, organisations, community groups and individuals to inform planning, decision making and response strategy development.

This web portal is a community resource and welcomes your feedback, input and contribution. WIP brings together existing social datasets and information created and managed by government agencies, organisations, community groups and individuals.

Currently, WIP provides tools to:

• Generate a community profile report by LGA including ABS Census data, Victorian Population Health Survey and other relevant datasets
• View map layers of demographics and indicators
• Share information about your project or research.

WIP is a Centre for eResearch and Digitial Innovation (CeRDI) initiative together with; the Department of Health and Human Services, the Department of Justice and Regulation Horsham, Grampians Community Health, Horsham Rural City Council, Victoria Police Horsham, Wimmera Drug Action Taskforce, Wimmera Primary Care Partnership, Wimmera Southern Mallee LLEN, and Wimmera UnitingCare.
